Gravel Guide Scotland
Gravel Guide Scotland are based in the heart of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National park. Aberfoyle, now better known as Gravelfoyle for its immense network of incredible trails, stunning vistas and endless beauty is unrivaled in the UK and we have the privilege of living here.
What sets us apart is our intimate local knowledge, our love of Gàidhlig, folklore, flora and fauna (expect translations for every loch and hill you encounter!) and of course our infectious love for all things outdoors and bikes. We want everyone to feel the joy we do from the gift that is our Scottish playground. Time in our company will be a feast for your ears as well as your eyes - we have plenty spraffle to share!
As coaches, we have years of experience from complete beginner to seasoned cyclist. We believe everyone should be able to move at their own pace. Whether you’re a tentative Theresa or a jamming Jennifer, we encourage growth. Transitioning from road riding to taking your first foray into gravel riding? We’ll help take the mental load out of learning and guide you to becoming a confident gravel rider.
Our guided rides can be tailored to suit your group or you can join us on a pre-planned route. We’re all about taking the mental load out of finding your way around the Trossachs and we are spoilt for options - glens, lochs, mountains… take your pick! We have a fluent Gàidhlig speaker in our midst too who loves to bring the landscape to life with translations of hill and loch names and, yes, correct pronunciations! Sharing pedals and stories in the most stunning landscape are what to expect when you join us in Gravelfoyle.
